How to Read These Codes...

Certain conventions are used throughout the code book to refer to controllers, buttons, and the like. Here's an overview of the various notations you may see.

    For Non-Nintendo game systems, Virtual Console button entries are listed according to their original system designations.

    The Wii Classic Controller button mappings will be listed in the game's digital manual. GameCube button mappings may vary from game to game.

    Virtual Console Arcade titles don't appear to have a "standard" control scheme. Please consult the digital manual for button mappings. Code entries will be tailored to each game.
