=>Easy Completion: On level 2, hold U so that you always face the water, and
you won't have to fight as many planes, but just the boats and subs. You
still have to kill some of the planes, but not as many. If you also move L
and R repeatedly, you won't have many ships to fight, either.
=>Even EASIER Completion: While playing, hold U+R and you will easily fly
past most obstacles. You still have to land, though.

=>Special Serve: To do this serve, press STARTx2. The serve itself will be
quite slow, but the ball will seem to drift to the left. Human opponents
seem to have a hard time making contact with this.
=>Demo Dance: Leave the game on the title screen for a bit for a little dance
routine.

=>Secret Voices/Screen: Start a new game, play until you have the 5th highest
score, then die. On the High Score screen, enter your name as YAWDIM
(Midway spelled backwards) and press R to find the secret screen. There,
try pressing buttons. This supposedly lets you hear secret voices from the
arcade version.
=>Stage Select: Get the highest score and enter the name FIRE

=>Free 1-Ups: Go to the movie theater at the beginning of the game and sit
through the credits.
=>Continue from Mars: If you've reached Mars and died, wait for the title
screen to reappear. Start the game back up and go to the movie theater, then
watch the credits. During the credits, hold A+B and you will warp to the
Mars level.

=>Easy 1-Ups: When you encounter the first green soldier, stand and fight him
over and over. He'll keep coming back. Every 100 kills gives a 1-Up.

=>Invincibility: In the first level, go to the dresser and crouch on the lower
shelf for about 5 seconds; the power meter will begin to spin, and you will
now take no damage.
=>Stage Skip: In the first level, crouch on the bucket of soldiers for about
7 seconds. Afterwards, you can skip through and stage by pausing the game
and pressing SELECT.

=>Star Mode: Complete the game and your save game will have a star next to it.
Star a new star mode game and you'll find different DAS cards, along with
a slightly altered ending.
=>Secret Message: Complete a Star mode game and make sure to get the ending
where D leaves the island. You should receive a special message/puzzle after
the credits.
=>Endings: There are two different endings in the game. To get the best
ending, you'll need to help D recall of his memories as you play through the
game, then make sure to touch his hand near the end of the game. If you do,
he'll be able to leave the island. If not, he'll stay on it.
=>Special Books (US Version): There are two hidden books in the U.S. version
of this game. You can only read their titles if you examine them -before-
picking up the N and E books.
* In the Silver Bird room, examine the third book from the left on the
N book shelf and you'll find a Zelda reference.
* In the Gold Bird room, examine the far left book on the E book shelf.
The title is a reference to the GameCube Fire Emblem game.

=>Weird Tricks: For some weird effects, try the following...
* Ground a UFO: In the hammer throw, toss the hammer at maximum power and
at 80 degrees.
* Froggy: In the Triple Jump, land a couple of yards short from the pit.
* Blooming Flowers: Hit your Archery arrows in the ground between the 40
and 50 yard marks in the 70 yard shot.

=>Super Hammer: Swing with your power meter as low as possible, make the angle
80 degrees and toss. The hammer will drop inches away, but you'll get credit
for 92.04 meters!
