=>Tunes: Having trouble copying Toadofsky's tunes? Here they are...
* Suite #18 - Alto Card |So La Mi Re Do Re Do Re|
* Mole Mt. Blues - Tenor Card |Mi Do So Do Re La Ti Do|
* Star's Monstro Melody - Soprano Card |La Ti Do Re So Do Re Mi|
=>Reset Game: Hold [L]+[R] and press [SELECT]+[START] to reset the game.
->Experience Tips: One way to quickly gain levels is to find an area with a
Starman in a box, grab it, and plow through enemies. When the invincibility
wears off, die in battle. You will continue from your last save point, but
you will retain your experience. Repeat as often as you wish.
If you have a controller with a turbo feature, go to Booster's Tower and
equip all of your party with Trueform Pins. Climb to the second floor,
where you will find a staircase with a constant stream of Snifits tumbling
down it. If you stand at the foot of the stairs in the path of these
Snifits and set the A button to Turbo, the controller will automatically
fight these Snifits. You should have little or no damage from these battles.
When you are at the level you desire, turn off the turbo and continue.
Please note that with this method, all the special skill increases that
take place at level-ups will be Hit Point increases.
->Casino: Find Knife Guy in Booster's Tower and play his guessing game until
you win the Bright Card (turning the color down on your screen will help).
You need 12 correct calls to do so, and incorrect guesses are deducted from
your total. When you have this card, go to Bean Valley and enter the top
left pipe. Stand above the Chain Chomp and hop up against the wall to
reveal a block, which you can climb up to find Grate Guy's Casino.
->Secret Items:
* Mystery Egg: Equip Princess Toadstool with the B'Tub Ring and have her
use the Egg repeatedly in battle until it hatches into the Lamb's Lure.
Use the Lamb's Lure until it becomes the Sheep Attack, a nifty little
gadget.
* Star Egg: In Grate Guy's Casino, talk to Grate Guy until he lets you play
Look The Other Way. 100 victories yield the Star Egg, which wallops the
entire enemy party at an average of 100 points each.
* Lazy Shell: Get the Seed and the Fertilizer (check out Nimbus Land after
defeating Valentina; try walking into thin air). Go to Rose Town and you
will find a new path to the back of the town; follow it to find and old
man and a planter. If things go well, you will get some nice equipment!
* Quartz Charm: Beat Culex in Monstro Town to get this item. It doubles your
attack power, even though your status screen won't reflect that.
* Troopa Pin: Reach the cliff at Land's End and hop up on the backs of the
Koopa Paratroopas in less than 12 seconds to earn the pin.
* Yoshi-Aid: Once you reach Smithy's factory, return to Yo'ster Island.
Race until you have 15 cookies, then feed all 15 to the fat baby Yoshi.
->Hidden Jokes/Cameos: This game is filled with little jokes and touches.
* Princess's ???: Look around the chairs in Princess Toadstool's bedroom.
Not really useful, but good for a laugh.
* Samus Aran: Sleep in the Mushroom Kingdom castle guest room before you
complete the Land's End area.
* Link: Sleep in the Rose Town inn.
* Mario: You will find a set of curtains in Booster's Tower. Walk behind
them to give Mario a retro look.
* Luigi: Listen to all the wish stars on Star Hill to hear Luigi's wish. He
also appears as the grand marshal of the victory parade.
* Final Fantasy Boss: If you use a Shiny Stone, you can open door #3 in
Monstro Town, where you will find (and fight) a guy named Culex whilst
FF music plays.
->Item Tricks: Some quick and easy ways to earn standard items...
* Wiggler Stomp: Find a Wiggler caterpillar in the forest and stomp on it
10 times without touching the ground to earn a Frog Coin.
* Goomba Stomp Minigame: Check out all the pipes in the Pipe Vault to find
this special minigame, where you can earn Frog Coins.
* Flower Points: Complete the Booster Hill race, then return before beating
the pirate ship. Run up the hill. When Toad asks you about beetle boxes,
ignore him and run up the hill. Two flowers should appear near the end of
the hill. Grab them and run up the hill again for more.
* Kerocolas: If you pay for the expensive suite in the Marrymore hotel, you
can purchase Kerocolas for only $150. These can be sold for $200, thus
ensuring a profit.
* Red Essence: Once you get the Dream Pillow, sleep in the Nimbus Land inn
and you will have a nightmare concerning Toad. Afterwards, he will give
you three red essences.
->Battle Tips:
* Timed Magic: You can do a double attack with magic too! Try it with
Mallo's Psychopath for some fun.
* 9999 HP Attack: Use Geno's Geno Whirl and press Y just as the ring exits
the screen to land a 9999 HP attack on most normal enemies.
* Jonathan Jones Tip: When fighting Jonathan Jones, kill all but one of the
little sharks in the first wave, then ignore that little shark and attack
Jonathan only. This way you will avoid the one on one battle with
Jonathan.
* Yaridovich: When he begins doing his mirage attack, use Mallow's
Thunderbolt. The Yardovich that takes the least damage is the true one.
->Puzzle Hints: Stumped by a puzzle?
* The ship's password is |PEARLS|
* Ghostly Game: The three Ghosts flags are under Mario's bed, behind the
Rose Town rose sign, and between the O and the A in the Y'oster Island
GOAL. You will get the Ghost Medal from the specters for your scavenging.
* Triathlon: The one that outrode another in the bike race is 1st, the one
who fell into 4th place in the bike race is 2nd, the one beaten by two
others in the marathon is 3rd, and the guy who is 3rd in swimming is 4th.
* Forest Maze: When following directions from townsfolk, remember that
right and left are according to Mario's perspective, not the screen's! If
Mario is standing at the right edge of the screen and facing the center,
his right would be the top of the screen!
->Treasure Box: At the beginning of the game, while you are in the Mushroom
Kingdom castle, Toad will walk through some inner doors to see the
Chancellor. The chest is above the door leading to the Chancellor's room.
Jump off of Toad's head as he enters this room to bop the block above the
door. You should be able to jump up onto the black space above the doorway.
You will never again get the opportunity to make this jump.
->Fireworks: The number of fireworks you buy during the game will determine
the display at the end of the game. 5 yields a starburst.
->Mine Car Horn: While riding the mine car in Moleville Mountain, press [L] or
[R] to honk the horn.
->Mario Music: On the THE END screen, wait and the original SMB music plays!
=>Beetle Blaster: After you beat Yaridovitch at Seaside Town, you can buy the
Game Boy from the mushroom boy in the Mushroom Kingdom Inn. There are two
different background that appear, depending on where you play it.
