SUPER MARIO BROS. 3 (nes)

checked-part =>28 P-Wings: After beating the game, press [START] on the THE END screen, and begin a game with 28 P-Wings per brother! ? Beat the game one more time to receive 28 Hammer Bros. suits. =>Warp Whistles: * In world 1-3, squat on the first white block (it looks like it has screws in it) until you fall through. Run to the end of the world, and you will end up BEHIND the background blackness, and find Toad's House. * In the world 1 fortress, go to the platform containing a Super Leaf block and a door. Grab the Super Leaf, run, and fly straight up along the wall above this platform. Press right, and you will land on top of the ceiling (out of view). Walk right until you are stopped, then press Up. * In world 2, take the hammer and smash the rock in the top right corner of the world. Kill the wandering Hammer Bros. (Fire Bros.) to get the whistle. Warping: Blow a whistle in __ to go to __. 1 => 2/3/4 Note: 2-6=> 5/6/7 World 9 = Warp Zone. 7-9=> 8 =>Fireless Bowser: Enter the last level with P-Wings. Take the lower path to Bowser, and when you enter the final room (with the pit of bricks), immediately fly up and onto the wall on the left. You will be able to walk left until you come to another room nearly identical to the one you were just in. Without falling into this room, turn around and go back right to the room you first entered and land. Move right and Bowser will appear, but he will not be able to breathe fireballs! =>Matching Game: There are 8 different card layouts in the N-Spade matching game, which appears every time a player scores 80,000 points. F= Fire Flower S= Starman U= 1-Up 1= 10 coins 2= 20 coins M= Mushroom FSUF2M UM1MFS F1UFUM F2MSUF MF2F1S MF2M1S MFUFSS FSUFUM 1M2UM1 M1S22F SM2SM1 UF1M2S 2UM1UF FUM1U2 2SM1UF 1MFSM1 SFSMFS SUFMFS SF2MFS M1SMFS SMSMFS SFSMFS 2M1MFS S22MFS =>Shell Shock: Stand one block away from a block and kick a shell at it. The shell will bounce back and go right through you without causing you any harm. =>Treasure Ship: In Worlds 1, 3, 5, and 6, you can change a wandering Hammer Bros. into a gold-filled treasure ship. Simply collect a number of coins that is a multiple of 11, and have to 10's digit of your score equal the 10's digit of your coin total. Finally, end the level with the timer on an even number. =>White Mushroom Houses: In certain stages, reaching a secret coin quota will result in the appearance of a White Mushroom House. These houses contain P-Wings in odd-numbered worlds and Anchors in even-numbered ones. The list below shows the number of coins you need to gather in the magic levels. |1-4: 44| |2-2: 30| |3-8: 44| |4-2: 22| |5-5: 28| |6-7: 78| |7-2: 46| =>Chain Chomps: Stare at a Chain Chomp for 160 beats of the timer for a surprise ... heh heh heh =>World 8 Boat Trick: Having problems with the first ship in world 8? Try swimming underneath the ship! =>Mole Mario: Many grass levels have a weird path under the ground. You can often fly under the level by flying through that path... use P-Wings. =>Ultimate Extra Life Trick: In World 3-4, travel through the level until you come to the hill with three Koopas waddling up it. You will need a shell later, so don't kill all of them. Kill the 2 Goombas (and the Piranha Plant, if you wish) and continue until you reach the row of bricks near a cliff. Lakitu should appear about now and will toss Spinies at you. Run back to the left, stomp a Koopa and grab its shell, stand on the platform directly underneath the pipe, and kick the shell so that it bounces back and forth underneath you. Lakitu will toss Spinies at you, but they should miss you and land on the ground, where the spinning shell will quickly take care of them, racking up points and then lives. This is a GREAT method... oh, occasionally you may find that Mario is standing in just the wrong place on the bricks or that something has fouled up - basically, the tossed Spinies will hit you even though you are atop the platform. =>Extra Life Trick 2: As everyone knows, if you stomp on enough enemies without touching the ground, you earn extra lives. In world 1-2, you will find a flying Para-Goomba next to a pipe spitting out Goombas near the beginning of the level. As Raccoon Mario, stomp a Goomba, let yourself hop as high as you can, float down as slowly as possible, and stomp another Goomba. Repeat without hitting the ground to rack up points and lives. * In the World 2 Fortress, as Raccoon Mario, stomp on the three Dry Bones (turtle skeletons) repeatedly without touching the ground. Stomp on Dry Bones #1, then 2, then 3, then float back and stomp on the first one, which should be back up by then. You will probably have to spend a lot of time floating in the air in order to allow the Dry Bones to regenerate. =>King Message: If you are wearing a suit when you beat a Koopa Kid and speak to the king, he'll give you a different message.
