SUPER MARIO ADVANCE (gba)

checked-yes =>Yoshi Challenge Mode: Once you beat the game, you can search the levels for all the Yoshi eggs. Two are hidden in each level of the game, and they are always hidden in Subcon (the dark area you enter briefly when you enter a potion door). If you die during a level, you lose the eggs you've collected in that level and have to try for them again. If you collect all the eggs, the title screen will change slightly. =>Coin Cue: Once you beat the game, you can get a quick hint as to the location of the coins you may have missed in the levels. Go to your saved game and move the control pad to select the level you wish to play. On the game status screen (where small blocks are shown to indicate the levels of the game you've completed) you will see a red dot on any level you've found all the coins in. =>99 Lives: In world 5-3, there is a point at which you return to the surface and will find yourself being attacked by birds dropping Bob-Ombs. Get a shell and toss it on the ground, then hop on top of it and ride it. The shell will bounce back and forth across the ground, killing the Bob-Ombs as it hits them. Once it hits enough, it will start earning an extra life each time it kills another Bob-Omb. =>Sleep Mode: Press [SELECT]+[R] to pause the game and deactivate the screen, basically turning the game off while being paused. Press [SELECT]+[L] to wake it up again. This is a handy way to put aside your game for awhile. =>Unlimited Hearts: When you pick up a giant enemy, toss it at the ground without killing it. A heart should appear when you toss it. Pick up the giant again and repeat for another heart. Repeat as often as you like. =>Subspace Coin Trick: Normally you can only get coins from Subspace twice in a level. However, if you die in Subspace rather than returning to the level, the game won't count that visit. As long as you have lives remaining, you can snag more coins from Subspace. Use the Restart Level code to ensure death in Subspace. =>Warp Zones: * World 1-3 to World 4: Take a potion to the end of the outside world. When you reach the door and a jar, toss the potion. Jump into the jar while in Sub-Con and you enter a warp zone. * World 3-1 to World 5: Go through the first door and you will find a huge water fall. Jump down into the waterfall and you will find a small platform and door. Inside, grab the potion and walk right to the jar. Enter Sub-Con and jump into the jar to enter the warp zone to World 5. * World 4-2 to World 6: While hopping along the whales, you will find exactly one jar. Toss a potion to enter Sub-Con, then hop in this jar to warp. * World 5-3 to World 7: Climb up the ladder, then hop onto the overhanging ledge containing the jar. Toss the potion, enter Sub-Con, and use the jar as a warp. (Note: Only Luigi can hop onto this ledge without needing to hop off of a moving object). =>Mario Bros. Link Note: To play the original Mario Bros. cooperative mode, you normally need a copy of the same cartridge for each system that is linked together. However, all the Super Mario Advance games contain the original Mario Bros. game. This means that you can link up any SMA titles for multiplayer gaming.
