checked-no =>SFII Initials: When asked for your initials, end the entry without keying in anything, and the game will put SFII in instead of initials. =>Championship Mode - Player vs. Player: When the Capcom logo appears before the title screen, press D [R] U [L] Y B. A tone will sound and the screen will turn blue. Enter the Vs. battle mode. Pressing [START] changes the fighter's colors, while A keeps them the same. =>Player vs. Computer, Same Fighter: Begin a one player game and choose any character, but lose both rounds of your first battle. Press CNTRL I: [START] to continue on the continue screen, then select the character you want to fight the clone of. Play as this character and lose both rounds, pressing CNTRL I: [START] to continue. Choose a different character than the first two and when you enter the new battle press CNTRL II: [START] and choose a character other than that you wish to play the clone of. Have player 1 beat player 2 in both rounds. Instead of having player 2 continue, wait until the game starts back up and the computer begins a battle with player 1, then press CNTRL II: [START] and choose the character whose stage you are flying to, but don't pick the one that you wish to clone. Continue this process of having player 2 lose until you work your way through the battle arenas to the stage of the clone. Let both players sit there for all for rounds, letting time run out. On the continue screen, press CNTRL I: [START] and choose the character you wished to clone, pressing [START] to lock in the character under that color. You will now fight the computer using the same characters. =>Other Player vs. Computer, Same Fighter Trick: =Ryu= Start a 1 player game and choose any player BUT Ryu. Continue the game until it comes to Ryu's dojo. Press CNTRL II: [START] and choose any player BUT Ryu. During this match of human vs. human, let each character win one of the first 2 battles, and let the time run out in the second 2 without any fighting. When given the chance to continue, press CNTRL I: [START] and select Ryu. Off you fly to fight Ryu! =Ken= Start a game with any character but Ken. When in Ken's stage, press CNTRL II: [START] and choose any player BUT Ken. Play this fight like the one in Ryu's Trick above, and when given the option to Continue, press CNTRL II: [START]. Picking Ken, player 2 will now fly off and fight a computer Ken. =>Profiles: Turn on the game and wait for the first player profile to appear. Hold CNTRL II:[L]+[R] and the profile will stay onscreen. Continue to hold the buttons as the profiles cycle. =>No Info Bars: When you first turn on the system, enter and exit the options screen 27 times, then begin a match with the information bars missing from the top of the screen. =>See Char. Ending: To see the character ending while only playing level 2, enter the player vs. player code as mentioned above, then play through the game. After beating M. Bison, but before the screen fades, press [START]+[R]. =>Configuration Mode: Hold down [SELECT] before the first fight begins, and the Controller Config. screen appears, where you can change the button settings. =>Extra Sounds: In the Options screen, press [R] rapidly on sounds 25, 26, or 27... you will get new sounds when you play 1f through 23.
