 =>Extra Cups: Get at least a bronze trophy in the 50cc and 100cc classes in
   a cup to unlock the 150cc class for that cup.
 =>Mirror Mode: Get at least a bronze trophy in all 150cc cups to unlock the
   mirror mode class for all cups.
 =>50cc/100cc Mixed Mode: Get trophies in all 50cc GP cups to unlock the
   ability to use bikes in 50cc cups. Get trophies in all 100cc GP cups to
   unlock the ability to use karts in 100cc cups.
     To activate these modes, press [+] when choosing your speed class.
 =>Golden Wheel: In WiFi mode, you'll receive a golden wheel icon next to your
   name if you continually use the Wii Wheel in the game. It will revert to
   a white wheel if you use any other control method.
 =>Star Ranking: When you complete a GP cup, you'll receive a ranking based
   on your racing, either a letter or 1-3 stars. To receive stars, you'll
   need to get a gold trophy in all four cup races (60 points) and have low
   times in all the races. The better your times, the more stars you'll
   receive, up to 3 for the cup.
     In WiFi mode, you'll have a star next to your name if you have a star
   ranking in all cups in the game. You'll have a two star ranking if you
   have two stars in all cups, and three stars if you have three in all cups.
 =>Alternate Title Screen: Get gold trophies in all cups in the game for an
   alternate title screen and alternate ending victory photo.
 =>Extra Racers:
   * Baby Daisy: Get at least 1 star in all 50cc Wii GP cups.
   * Baby Luigi: Unlock 8 Expert staff ghosts in Time Trials.
   * Bowser Jr.: Get at least 1 star in all 100cc Retro GP cups.
   * Birdo: Get a time trial score on 16 different courses, or win 250 races
     in WiFi mode.
   * Daisy: Get a gold in the 150cc Special Cup.
   * Diddy Kong: Get a gold in the Retro 50cc cups.
   * Dry Bones: Get a gold in the 100cc Leaf Cup.
   * Dry Bowser: Get at least 1 star in all 150cc Wii GP cups.
   * Funky Kong: Unlock 8 Expert Staff ghosts in Time Trials.
   * King Boo: Get a gold in the 50cc Star Cup.
   * Mii Outfit A: Get a gold in the 100cc Special Cup.
   * Mii Outfit B: Unlock Expert Staff ghosts in all 32 Time Trial tracks.
   * Rosalina: Have a Super Mario Galaxy save file on your Wii and win gold
     trophies in several GP cups. Alternatively, get at least 1 star in all
     of the Mirror GP cups.
   * Toadette: Play all 32 Time Trial courses.
 =>Extra Vehicles:
   * Aero Glider (large kart): Get gold in all 150cc Retro GP cups.
   * B-Dasher (medium kart): Unlock 24 Expert Staff ghosts.
   * Blue Falcon (small kart): Get gold in the Mirror Lightning cup.
   * Bubble Bike (small bike): Get gold in the Mirror Leaf cup.
   * Cheep Charger (small kart): Get 1 star in all 50cc Retro cups.
   * Dolphin Dasher (medium bike): Get gold in Mirror Star cup.
   * Dragonetti (large kart): Get gold in 150cc Lightning cup.
   * Magikruiser (small bike): Play 8 tracks in Time Trials.
   * Nitrocycle (medium bike): Get 1 star in all 100cc Wii GP cups.
   * Phantom (large bike): Get gold in the Mirror Special cup.
   * Piranha Prowler (large kart): Get gold in 50cc Special cup.
   * Quacker (small bike): Get gold in 150cc Star cup.

   * Royal Racer (medium kart): Get gold in 150cc Leaf cup, or get 50 WiFi
     mode wins.
   * Torpedo (large bike): Get 12 Expert Staff ghosts in Time Trial mode.
   * Turbo Blooper (medium kart): Get gold in 50cc Leap cup.
   * Twinkle Star (large bike): Get gold in 100cc Star cup.
   * Zip Zip (medium bike): Get gold in all 100cc GP cups.
 =>Expert Staff Ghosts: While staff ghosts are available on all Time Trial
   ghosts, special Expert Staff Ghosts can be unlocked if you beat specific
   times on each course; unlocking these ghosts is required for certain
   unlockable bonuses. Here is a list of times required to unlock the expert
   ghosts on all tracks.

 =>Clone Racers: It's possible to have multiple players use the same
   characters. Have player one select their character, then unselect and move
   the cursor elsewhere. Have player two then select that character, then
   return to the previous menu screen. Return to the character selection
   screen and both player one and two will have the same character selected.
 =>Quick Boost Recovery: If you fall off the track, press the gas button
   immediately as you are dropped back on the track to get a small startup
   speed boost.
 =>Mii Weight Class: When playing as a Mii using Mii Outfit A or B, your
   weight class (which determines which kinds of karts or bikes you ride) is
   determined by the size of your Mii. Change your Mii's size in the Mii
   Channel to allow them to race in different weight classes.
 =>Avoid POW Block: It's possible to avoid a POW shock wave if you pull off
   a trick right before a POW is about to hit you. You'll lose your items,
   but you shouldn't spin out or slow down.
 =>Starting Boost: During the countdown at the beginning of a race, hold down
   the gas button when "2" starts to disappear.
