When releasing other buttons, continue to hold down <A>. 1) On the title screen, hold <A>+<B>+<C> and press <START>. 2) Move the cursor to Options and press <B>+<C>. 3) Move the cursor to Exit and press <B>+<C>. 4) Select the number of players and press <B>+<C>. 5) Start a Normal mode game using <B>+<C>. 6) Select your character and press U+<B>+<C>+<START>. A single digit will appear in the center of the screen. Release <A> and you will be able to change the digit (which represents your starting level) with <A> or <B>. Press <START> to begin on your selected level. =>8 Continues: Highlight Options, hold <A>+<B>+<C> and press <START>. Keep holding <B>+<C> but release all the other buttons, then adjust the options as you like while making sure to leave the difficulty set to Normal. Exit the Options menu and start up a new Normal game and you'll see that you now have eight credits.
